3.6 mm is the standard choice for a more substantial panel. Use 1.6 mm where the laminate is fully supported by an existing dashboard or backing plate.

Safety-critical controls

Check all legends, symbols, clearances and electrical work before ordering and installation. For road-vehicle safety systems or structural dashboard changes, use a suitably competent automotive engineer or electrician.
