1.6 mm is ideal for fascia overlays and labels mounted onto a supporting enclosure. 3.6 mm provides a more substantial, rigid panel for heavier-duty applications. Both options use durable two-ply engraving laminate.

Durable engraved control panels, designed online
Choose either 1.6 mm or 3.6 mm two-ply engraving laminate, position exact component openings, add permanent engraved legends and approve a dimensioned proof. The lettering is laser engraved through the surface layer rather than printed on top, so it will not rub away through normal handling or heavy use.

The laser removes the coloured surface layer to reveal the contrasting core. The wording is not ink, vinyl or a surface print, so it cannot simply rub off during normal handling, cleaning or repeated use.
Indoor and outdoor use
Our laminate is highly durable and weather-resistant, making it suitable for indoor or outdoor control panels exposed to frequent handling, workshop conditions and demanding everyday use.

Panels up to 60,000 mm² and up to 24 component openings. Larger or more complex control panels can be designed but require a manual quotation.
Production review
Every paid control panel receives a manual check. If a workable revision cannot be agreed, the panel can be cancelled and refunded.
Production files
The LightBurn-ready SVG and PNG proof are stored privately and emailed to the Engrave Spec workshop after payment. Customers receive the dimensioned proof, not the manufacturing file.
